Welcome to bits of my world -- I'm the amateur writer of this space, piecing together portraits of our silly and serious lives overseas for those who want a peak.
I grew up in good 'ol Chicago, with my booming big family of 10. I'm a third born, who always loved babies, so God gave us five of our own. I have been joyfully married to Keith McFarland since 2001. We have never grown tired of each other and we love to laugh and share every detail of lives over dark chocolate and coffee. We have served in a small corner of the world in Uganda, East Africa for over a decade. New Hope Uganda is home. We sow, we labor, we weep, and we laugh among the poor and the orphaned. What a gift. Join me in this journey.
